Parents, Respecting Autism, Dr. Gil Tippy, special needs

Dr. Gil Tippy was invited to be a guest at Parents.com on the regular parenting blog of Dr. Richard Rende.  Dr. Rende, Ph.D., is an Associate (Research) Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University and Director of the Transdisciplinary Research Group at Butler Hospital in Providence, RI.   When the  New York Times published their article about the possible impact of the proposed changes to the Aspergers, Autism and PDD NOS diagnoses, he reached out to Dr. Tippy to give his opinion about the changes.  To read the article, please visit Parents.com’ Red-Hot Parenting:
