<p>Dr. Tippy focused on his experience at Rebecca School, and demonstrated how the <strong>Developmental, Individual difference, Relationship-based (DIR) model</strong> of Autism treatment works, developed by co-author of<em><strong> Respecting Autism</strong></em>, <strong><a href="http://stanleygreenspan.com/" target="_blank">Dr. Stanley Greenspan</a></strong>.  Dr. Tippy spoke on working in an developmentally appropriate, effective, relationship-based intervention that respects the humanity of people with Autism in the middle of the behavorial world of autism treatment.  He stressed the importance of play as well as deeply connecting with yourself to deeply connect with others, while always maintaining respect.</p>
